Careful

Don't be anxious about anything - but in everything by prayer and petition w/ thanksgiving, present your request to God.

That's the NIV version, the King James starts it:
"Be careful for nothing"

Here's "careful" defined:

• attentive to potential danger, error, or harm; cautious
• thorough & painstaking in action or execution; conscientious
• protective
• cautious in one's actions
• done w/ accuracy or caution
• troubled; attend to w/ anxiety
• painstaking effort to avoid errors

This verse has breathed new life to me today.  I've come to the end of myself this week.  And can say I know what it is like to put forth painstaking effort to avoid errors... to attend to with anxiety.

it guards

our hearts & our minds

in something rock solid... Jesus. 

Sometimes I can't decide if his word is crazy or good, or an unreplicable display of both - it for sure is freedom.
