Your grace will lead us home. There will be no more night. We will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for you will be our light. And together we will be... forever. Rev. 22:5

Endings & Beginnings
Last day of 2012.
What a year!
Chad started a new job. Opened our hearts to twin boys but in the end that wasn't the pending plan. Watched my younger brother courageously navigate unexpected change and my older one gain more than I'd asked or hoped. Spent fun summer time with family at our new stomping grounds. Trip to CO with friends and Nashville visits to see family. Spent all year looking for a home and finally landed in another state on Nov. 30th, close to more family and friends. With lots of ups and downs all scattered in between.
Loved my devotional this am - it ended with what rings so loudly true in my heart -
"This is my song through endless ages, Jesus led me all the way - and again they shout - 'Hallelujah!'"
Got my title for the blog from the devotional today too - It said...
"Let us call out to one another through the darkness until the night becomes alive with the sound of many voices, encouraging God's weary travelers. And may the echoes grow into a storm of hallelujahs that will break in thundering waves around His sapphire throne."
Yes, please.
Yesterday I made, what was I think my 8th loaf of zucchini bread this holiday and had it all started; zucchini grated, dry ingredients mixed, eggs cracked and realized I was almost out of oil - so had to halt the process and make a quick run to CVS. Bonus was the weekly special happened to be on Wesson Vegetable Oil - 2 big ones for 6 bucks, happy girl. My point to this bunny trail occurred as I reentered the car to drive home... two great songs played, the first I'd never heard and is a wonderful end of the year song, "Another Day," by Natalie Grant. Then as I pulled into the drive, "Great I Am" began and kept me sitting in the garage to hear it all play out.
