Shower

you'd think baby shower with my title and the topic i'm writing on, but no, girl's being literal

this is ours.

earlier this year, I got this idea in my head to pray for my nieces and nephews when i squeegeed off the shower doors each morning.  pray is a strong word, it is a short name saying, lifting their sweet selves up to the Lord... the routine started, the routine stuck and i kid you not i've fallen in love with these doors... since i started this my niece/nephew count has gone from 10 to 16! then when i found out we were pregnant, i added our little one to the mix for a final count of 17

if i was feeling like i would have a boy, i'd pray for a boy... on days i thought it was a girl i'd pray for our girl... some days it was just baby which over time became an acronym for... "be amazed by Yahweh"

isn't that just what it is?  a journey of being amazed by God?... learning of him hands on shall we say? more than one would probably dare dream!  sometimes, not very often, i'm just overcome with the reality that life is in this belly of mine... already a light to a dark place in me and redirects an often overactive mind to just be still and trust a mysterious Giver of Life...
